This review summarizes recent development in C—H alkylation of N ‐heteroarenes via the radical oxidative coupling process. A variety of alkyl radical sources (including alkanes, ethers, alcohols, carboxylic acids, organoboranes, and some other alkane derivatives) for C—H alkylation of N ‐heteroarenes are reviewed.
