An iron‐mediated three‐component chlorotrifluoromethylation of both styrenes and aliphatic alkenes has been presented here. This reaction employs ferric chloride (FeCl 3 ) as the Cl source and the Langlois reagent (CF 3 SO 2 Na) as the CF 3 source. It provides a convenient pathway towards a wide range of chlorotrifluoromethylated compounds.
