Au/TiO 2 catalyst is firstly reported to be efficient in the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene to produce p‐ aminophenol with a high PAP selectivity of 81% and overall yield more than 63%. The catalyst is also quite stable and can be reused for at least 4 times with only slight decrease in activity.
