A series of acceptor‐donor‐acceptor alternative small molecules were synthesized containing electron‐donating central building moieties of phenothiazine, 2,7‐carbazole and thieno[3,4‐ b ]thiophene and electron‐accepting moieties of tetrazine on both sides.
