Five new oleanane‐type saponins ( 1 – 5 ), together with three known ones ( 6 – 8 ), were isolated from the rhizomes of Anemone amurensis . Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic analysis and chemical evidence. Compounds 2 – 4 are three novel sulfated oleanane‐type triterpenoid glycosides.
