The amination of a chiral Ni(II) complex as a model reaction was studied to develop a highly practical, efficient, and stereospecific approach for Ni(II) complex reactions in an aqueous phase. A convenient and clean water‐mediated reaction of the Ni(II) complex has been reached, and a broad spectrum of substrates could participate in the process effectively to produce desired products in good yields and excellent diastereoselectivities. Significantly, it is the first report of chiral gly‐Ni(II) complex reaction in aqueous media.
