Abstract HClO 4 ‐SiO 2 , efficiently catalyzed the condensation of o ‐aminophenols and 2‐bromo‐1‐aryl‐ethanones to yield 3‐aryl‐2 H ‐benzo[1,4]oxazines in good yields.
