An unexpected green and facile synthesis of 2,6‐diaryl‐4‐styrylpyridines was realized via microwave‐assisted multi‐component reactions of 3‐arylacrylaldehyde oximes, 1‐arylethanones and ammonium acetate in solvent‐free conditions. This protocol has the prominent advantages of environmental‐friendliness, short reaction time, high yields, low cost, easy operation as well as broad scope of applicability.
