A series of perfluoroalkyl substituted spiro cyclic compounds 2,17‐di(perfluoroalkyl methyl)‐3,16‐di(iodomethyl)‐7,12,20,23‐tetraoxatetraspiro‐ [4.2.2.2.4.2.2.2]tetracosane‐6,13,19,24‐tetraones were prepared from 1,4‐cyclohexanedone by an efficient and versatile method.
