A new compound containing polyoxovanadoborate anion was synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. A water molecule at the center of the anion was precisely determined. The crystals of the new compound belong to the monoclinic system, space group P2 1 / n with a =1.35002(7), b =2.0864(1), c =2.3667(1) nm, β=90.669(1)°, V =6.6660(5) nm 3 , Z =4, µ=2.066 mm −1 , D c =2.352 g/cm 3 , M r =2359.2, S =1.152, R =0.0642, wR =0.0789.
