An acetylide‐bridged dinuclear platinum(II) terpyridyl complex, [Pt(4‐ p ‐tolyl‐terpy)‐i‐phenyl‐=‐(4′‐ p‐tolyl ‐terpy)Pt](C10 4 ) 2 (1). has been successfully synthesized and its photophysical properties are reported.
