A detail study on the Eu(fod) 3 ‐catalyzed rearrangement of allylic esters was described. A significant effect of the substituents at the allylic backbone was observed. The migrating tendency of the alkoxyacetates was established in the order of p‐ CF 3 C 6 H 4 CH 2 OCH 2 CO 2 > MeOCH 2 CO 2 > PhCH 2 OCH 2 CO2 > p‐ MeOC 6 H 4 CH 2 OCH 2 CO 2 .
