Ru(CO) 3 [Ph 2 PN ( i ‐Bu) PPh 2 ‐P, P] was conveniently obtained by the reaction of Ru(DMSO) 4 Cl 2 with Ph 2 PN( i ‐Bu)‐PPb 2 and CO in the presence of Zn powder under mild conditions. The crystal and molecular structure was determined by X‐ray diffraction. This compound possesses a distorted trigonal bipyramidal configuration.
