Unsymmetrical ketones were conveniently prepared from the unsymmetrical diorganyl borinates via the insertion of dichlorocarbene into CB bond under liquid‐liquid phase transfer catalysis conditions and oxidation with alkaline hydrogen peroxide in 35–67% yields.
