The protected apiose‐containing disaccharide, benzyl O ‐(2,3, 3′‐tri‐ O ‐acetyl‐β‐ D ‐apiofuranosyl)‐(1→3)‐2, 4‐di‐ O ‐benzoyl‐α‐ D ‐xylopyranoside, was synthesized and its X‐ray structure provided.
