A homologous series of n ‐butyl‐4‐[4‐((4‐ n ‐alkoxyl‐tetrafluorophenyl)ethynyl)benzyloxy] benzoates have been synthesized. Their phase transition temperatures have also measured by polarizing textural observation and confirmed by DSC.
