A series of poly(fluoroalkoxy thiophenes) have been prepared by electrochemical and chemical polymerization respectively. The substitution of thiophene by poryfluorinated alkoxy chains affords more favorable structures in electronic effect and higher stabilities of their polymers than conventional alkoxy chain substituted polymers.
