The proposed system is a vertical liquid jet issuing from an orifice near the surface of a gas–liquid mixture. The jet sucks gas, then penetrates into a coaxial pipe until it hits a horizontal impact plate and disperses into the gas–liquid mixture. The coaxial tube has holes in its upper part to recycle the mixture. The performace of this gas–liquid contacting device are very good. Experimental relations are given and possible applications are examined. One example of reactor calculation is given.
