An equation for determining the difference between the compressibility factors of saturated vapor and liquid ( Z V ‐ Z L ) through cubic equations of state has been developed as a function of reduced vapor pressure P r , reduced temperature T r and the critical cohesion parameter Ω ac of the chosen equation. The regressed equation has been presented in a polynomial expression of ( P r /T r ) and Ω ac for simple non‐iterative calculations.
