A new temperature dependence for the attractive term of a modified Peng‐Robinson cubic equation of state is proposed. The three adjustable parameters required per pure compound are reported for over ninety compounds of industrial interest. General expressions for the use of different mixing rules for different pairs of compounds in a multicomponent mixture are presented. The mixing rule proposed by Huron and Vidal is reinterpreted to make it applicable in the genera) treatment.
