This paper describes a version of Quasi‐Newton methods for solving a set of non‐linear algebraic equations. This method is simple, efficient, and requires little computer storage. This makes it suitable for the calculations of recycle streams in the simulation of chemical processes. Two examples are worked out to illustrate the good convergence of the present method as compared to commonly used methods.
