Experimental methods are described which yield information on entrainment and liquid interchange in two phase annular flow by using a model based on the response of the system to a steady injection of tracer in the film. Independent measurements of entrainment are also reported. The results indicate that if care is taken to ensure uniform continuous tracer injection and correct response measurement, it is possible to obtain reasonable values of the entrainment and interchange parameters. The annular flow model presented in an earlier paper 1 appears to give a useful description of the interchange process.
