Velocity and angle profiles emanated by turbine type impellers were measured in both air and water using a hot wire anemometer probe and two and three dimensional pitot tubes. Pumping capacities were then calculated from the velocity data. The effect of the rotational speed and the dimensions of the turbine was investigated.
