Vapor‐liquid equilibrium data are presented for the binary system, carbon tetrachloride‐tetrachloroethylene, at 760 ± 1 mm.Hg. total pressure using a modified Colburn equilibrium still. The system showed a tendency for ideal behavior. The experimental data have been correlated with the stepwise integration method of Othmer and with Hirata and Prahl correlations. Excellent agreement was obtained with Prahl correlation.
