Graphical and numerical integration methods are proposed for testing the thermodynamic consistency of ternary vapor‐liquid equilibrium data, in which the integration of the Gibbs‐Duhem equation can be performed under isothermal and isobaric conditions. No data‐fitting procedure is involved in the proposed methods, therefore the uncertainty as to whether the deviations are due to experimental errors or to the inadequacy of the employed equation can be avoided. When one part of the data is less precise than the others, the proposed method may be employed to detect the inconsistent part.
