A successful method for phlegmatization of fine RDX has been developed. Small quantities for the phlegmatizing wax are dissolved with RDX in acetone and the wax is co‐precipitated as a very thin film on individual RDX crystals. This method is incorporated into the technique for precipitation of fine RDX previously reported.
