A new alternative method of the determination of necessary conditions for dead zone formation has been proposed. This novel approach is based on simple mathematics and is more intuitive compared to methods that are available in other literature. Its efficiency in the determination of the necessary conditions has been shown for cases that have not yet been discussed as well as in complementary cases that have been taken from solutions from other literature, e.g., for a two‐reagent reaction system, which has been described in detail. Numerical and experimental examples have been given to illustrate the obtained results.
