We describe a case of recurrent erythema nodosum which developed large intracardiac thrombi consistent with vasculo‐Behçet. During the course of disease, only serum CRP levels continued to increase despite resolution of other clinical symptoms until the onset of thrombosis. CRP levels can be used as useful biomarker for identifying patients with suspected Behçet disease at a risk of subsequently developing intracardiac thrombi.
