The graphic depicts “Engi‐Kumade” , a Japanese traditional charm for better fortune, sometimes used as an auspicious object for collecting luck or economic fortune. The enantioconvergent process can be considered an auspicious transformation in asymmetric synthesis as the reaction affords enantioenriched products, that is, valuable ones, from racemic reactants.
