Efficient solid‐state emission of ultraviolet light is achieved with 1,4‐dialkenyl‐2,5‐dialkoxybenzenes and 1,4‐dialkenyl‐2,5‐disiloxybenzenes. The twisted molecular conformation and weak intramolecular charge‐transfer from the ether oxygen atoms to the alkenyl–benzene–alkenyl moiety are the keys for the realization of the solid‐state UV emission with high efficiency.
