The highly energetic H−H bond in molecular hydrogen can be activated by K‐stabilized aluminyl anions. A complete characterization of the H 2 activation process by monomeric and dimeric aluminyl anions has been conducted in this work, proffering insights that can be beneficial for future experimental realization.
