Cyclodimers and cyclotrimers of 2,3‐bisalkynylated anthracenes, phenanzines and diazatetracenes were synthesized through Glaser coupling. They display comparable optoelectronic properties but differ dramatically with respect to their solid‐state packing. Intermolecular interactions are fundamental for charge transfer in thin film transistors, and the diazatetracene trimer exhibits charge transfer mobilities an order of magnitude higher than its dimeric congener.
