Selective C−H bond functionalization catalyzed by metal complexes have completely revolutionized the way in which chemical synthesis is conceived nowadays. Full control of the site‐selectivity of this process is as desirable as it is challenging in transition metal catalysis, especially for benzanilide derivatives. In this Review by R. Gramage‐Doria on page 9688 ff., the developments of these methodologies are discussed.
