Solution combustion synthesis is a widely used low‐cost, simple and energy‐efficient approach to produce oxides with variable morphology. Different parameters need to be adjusted to regulate the final nature of the oxides, which is important for their further applications. An overview is given in the Review by E. Carlos, R. Martins, E. Fortunato, and R. Branquinho on page 9099 ff.
