Beyond MoS 2 : A systematic review of cutting‐edge research on TMDs beyond MoS2 as active materials in alkali metal‐ion batteries and supercapacitors is reported. A critical overview of the recent progress concerning synthesis methods, physicochemical and electrochemical properties is given.
