Recent advances in platinum group metal (PGM)‐based solid‐solution alloy nanoparticles (NPs), with particular attention to immiscible alloy systems are summarized. The concepts, synthesis, and properties of the alloy NPs are introduced, and the existing challenges and future perspectives are discussed in the Review article by H. Kitagawa et al. on page 5105 ff.
