Recent achievements and perspectives concerning the development of metal structures encoded with chiral molecular information are summarized and discussed. The synthesis of such materials either by chemical or electrochemical approaches is described. In addition, their potential applications for enantioselective adsorption, chiral separation, and analysis as well as asymmetric synthesis are illustrated. For more details, see the Minireview by A.
