The amplification of the solid‐state quantum yield of a thiophosphoranyl anthracene has been achieved by simple host–guest complex formation with small arenes. Weak interactions between the chromophore and the aromatic guest molecule led to a change in the solid‐state structure and an enhancement of the overall rigidity. The increased order resulted in less non‐radiative decay pathways and therefore in a brighter emission in the solid‐state.
