The first bis(alkynyl)borane‐supported actinide complexes are reported. Depending on R (i.e., the B ‐substituent), the bis(alkynyl)borane ligand can either coordinate in an η 5 ‐manner, affording a six‐membered uranaboracycle, or undergo a U IV ‐assisted intramolecular [2+2] cycloaddition to give a highly unusual fused bicyclic structure.
