With the presence of the hexanoate group , hexanoate‐cucurbit[7]uril integrates multiple promising functions for drug delivery. On one hand, hexanoate‐cucurbit[7]uril inherits the high binding affinity of cucurbit[7]uril with significant increase in solubility; on the other hand, hexanoate‐cucurbit[7]uril demonstrates controlled cargo release ability under mild acidic condition (cover design: Chen Cheng and Hao Chen).
