1D “Channel‐like” crystals based on thiacalixarene assemblies with “preorganized flexible voids” are fascinating for the selective recognition of alkane vapor via a gate‐opening mechanism. The cover art illustrates two activated “channel‐like” crystals, prepared by removal of the crystallization solvent via heating under reduced pressure, which can recognize three specific types of alkane vapor, namely, linear, branched, and cyclic alkanes.
