No organosilver(III) fluoride was known hitherto. Now the first representative of this important class of compound is reported here, namely [PPh 4 ][(CF 3 ) 3 AgF] (cover image, center). This compound exhibits an interesting combination of stability and reactivity. Thus, the CF 3 groups confer the compound substantial stability approaching that of the homoleptic, all‐organometallic compound [PPh 4 ][(CF 3 ) 4 Ag] (right). Concurrently, the Ag−F moiety is reactive, yet not as violently as for the purely inorganic anion [AgF 4 ] − (left).
