The use of visible‐light/photoredox catalysis for the generation of radical‐centered chalcogen trifluoromethyl groups has shown already high prospective. To date, a plethora of applications has been developed and a large diversity of products could be synthesized by making use of visible‐light/photoredox catalysis, emphasizing the importance of this concept.
