A hollow and microporous iron–disalphen network (H‐MFeSN) was engineered by template synthesis and by coordination of iron to a metal‐free disalphen network. H‐MFeSN shows not only a high surface area of 469 m 2  g −1 and chemical stability, but also high catalytic activity and recyclability in the conversion of carbon dioxide to cyclic carbonates.
