By conjugating a twisted basket scaffold to a dynamic aromatic lid, two diastereomeric capsules interconverting at a rapid rate were obtained. An addition of CBr 4 guest perturbed the equilibrium with predominant formation of single stereoisomeric complex stabilized with three C− H ⋅⋅⋅ Br −C interactions. On the Front Cover, these weak noncovalent contacts controlling the system's dynamic stereochemistry are shown as a dragon blowing fire at C−H groups.
