Intravascular oxygen delivery holds great potential for the treatment of numerous hypoxic conditions and emergencies, including pulmonary disorders, hypoxic tumors, hemorrhagic shock, stroke, cardiac arrest and so on. Different biomaterials strategies are available to incorporate oxygen gas as potential injectable therapeutics. For more information, see the Concept article by B. D.
