Multi‐component particle assembly from a view of assembly principles and the achieved intricate structures is discussed in the Concept article by D. Guo and Y. Song on page 16196 ff. Extensive studies have been made on the particles co‐assembly of various clusters, two‐dimensional membranes, and three‐dimensional lattices. To meet the challenge of one‐dimensional co‐assembly, the recent progress of one‐dimensional co‐assembly for diverse well‐ordered 1D binary superstructures is sorted out, supplementing the co‐assembly methodology and increasing the diversity of the assembled structures.
