Selective cleavage of one C−F bond in a CF 3 group attached to a π‐electron system is discussed in the Concept article by F. Jaroschik on page 14572 ff. The potential of these transformations to access a wide range of fluorinated products is highlighted. Despite these important advances in recent years, there are still many challenges ahead that need to be explored.
