In the past decade , magic‐angel‐spinning solid‐state NMR (MAS‐SSNMR) spectroscopy has emerged as an alternative tool for RNA characterization. The Minireview by Y. Yang and S. Wang on page 8698 ff. provides a concise overview of recent progress in MAS‐SSNMR strategies towards structural and dynamic characterization on RNA in the solid state. The topics include the procedures of RNA sample preparation, SSNMR spectroscopy for RNA characterization and recent successful examples of RNA studied by SSNMR spectroscopy.
