As a new type of functional material , fluorooxoborates are of great interest due to their abundant structural diversity. In this contribution, a new fluorooxoborate K 3 B 6 O 9 F 3 containing four different structural units, that is, [BO 3 ] 3− , [BO 4 ] 5− , [BO 3 F] 4− and [BO 2 F 2 ] 3− , has been successfully synthesized with unique two‐dimensional infinite2∞ [B 6 O 9 F 3 ] 3− layers.
